We had dinner at some chinese restaurant (damn I miss good ol' chinese food), and cake at their house. What I looked forward to was their new plasma tv! So as I watched Raikkonen (<3 McLaren Mercedes) crash out in Turkey's F1, I was awed by the fact that HD television is just
that awesome.
Then it struck me..
.. so WHY on earth do I like guyish stuff? First it was wrestling. I say it was good entertainment, watching silly 200lb men fake to fight it out in a little ring (hah, the irony) with millions all over the world watching them. It's more of curiousity than interest at first, but I start rooting for people and one thing leads to another and I liked wrestling.
Yeah ANYWAY. I actually prefer tops for guys than those.. glittery girly designs you see. I do like those masculine designs on tops with
girlish cuts though, so not all hope is lost. :0
But I am the kind of girl that can actually
sit and watch like 58 laps of Formula 1 racing, 2 hours of gruelling soccer (and scream "KNNBCCB!! REFEREE DAMN KAYU LOR!" while at it), and even squeal for that NOBLE (note: car brand) sports car that was featured on BBC's 'Top Gear', but I can't bear to watch tear-jerking Mandarin/Korean/Japanese drama shows? Something's awfully wrong here. >_>
I guess it's because I never really liked to be just 'another' girl. I rather have something that's more me, but the more I look at it, the more I wish I was just someone you'd never notice in a crowd in Orchard Road.
Of course, I do have some girliness lah. I don't expect myself to turn lesbian just because I possess more masculine characteristics than most girls my age, sheesh. I like<, wait no, LOVE Anthony Bourdain and his crazy antics. Like who sees a chef/food connoisseur from America that smokes
and drinks every day? Not unless you're watching No Reservations on Discovery Travel and Living, that is. <3
I guess I feel better knowing I'm not turning into some guyish girl or a girlish butch after all! I'm me. :)
