Okay, summary of what happened this week.

Apart from watching my bleach episodes I finally was able to download, I had my eyebrows trimmed at Estee Lauder. Free of charge. Mm, because my grandmother is that cool. =)

Then I was introduced to John and Andy, Germaine's and Taiba's boyfriends. And Taiba. o_o

A seventeen-year old going out with everyone else being twenty and above is weird. Really weird.

Anyway, I couldn't get my stupid $129 (yes, turns out it's 129 -_-) skirt. Sis was so reluctant to buy it so yeah, fuck it. I can't even buy a normal pair of Mango pants which cost only around 75 so again fuck it.

I'm wearing the gayest skirt that blinds people so beware.
GRACE CHUA SHU YAN. If you're SO glad on me having a prom, and choosing what I do not WANT to wear, how about you take my freaking place and go for prom instead? I'm not stopping you, this shit pisses me off I don't even think I want to go for this dumb shit tomorrow.

Fucking people have to piss me off in the night too.
I KNOW I'M NOT READY YET, DON'T NEED TELL ME ALREADY. Stupid men, what would they know about being ready or not. You guys have it all so simple! >_>

Sigh, my eyes hurt like hell.

Right, I feel stupid now, crying when daddy drove off leaving mummy alone.
Of course he'd go back..

Daddy's silly sometimes, but not heartless.

I just didn't want it to happen again..

I expected yesterday to be a really good day, but I guess Mr Osgodby was right. Once it's up, the only way is down. =/

Daddy bought me new speakers (which are pure secks), and an art tablet!

Okkaaayyy, so it's not the Graphire 3 I always wanted, but hey, this is a start! =D
I tested it out and it was soooo kewls!

But now there are two new fans on my CPU which have LED lights behind, making me unable to leave my computer on overnight.. because the blue lights are scary ; ;

Anyway. Thank god the Popular store Supervisor didn't seem to want me to work there.. I really don't think I'm cut out for cheap bookstores and places filled with kiasu aunties rampaging for best assessment books. I'd rather work in Kinokuniya, where most of the civilised and angmohs go.

That's why I want to work in Suntec's Toys'R'Us, mainly. Usually it's where more of the rich and better-mannered people shop. Even though well I know damn well it's Christmas and it's gonna be one hell of a crowd, but hey, it's time to display the talent of oratorical speech!

Haha kidding :x I'd just be a promotionist watching angmoh kids play with the wittle keyboards and melt my eyes out.

I spent $150+ in Topshop for prom wear going out with sis yesterday.

Pretty flashy, but I won't reveal what they are. There's a 'wai tao' which is cardigan-like, costed a hefty $106. The shirt only cost $47, but it's like bling-ish. And it looks really nice too.

So I still need accessories, makeup, hairdo, and a skirt (I promised Kaili and almost every other girl in class that I'd be wearing a skirt.. go me v_v)

I wanted this skirt, flowy and gold and shiz, but it would've burst my budget of $250. It cost $126 .____.; I'm gonna ask my grandmother if she's willing to buy it though, hopefully my mum doesn't screw up and tell her to just buy some ordinary skirt. -_-

This is PROM we're talking about people. One wrong move and people will remember you as the ugly duckling for life. One right move and you get to dance with the one you want!

And yes min, let's make our move on him once and for all! *evil laughter*
That night we don't ask for his number we are concluded phailures! Okay maybe not.. because I think I won't dare ._.

BUT YES. THE SKIRT. WAS SOOO NICE. O_O

... Then my mum had to spoil it all by buying a skirt from Lot1 today, and making me very very emotional. -_-

She disagrees on having my own hair design, what hair colour I want, and what my budget is. (She wanted to help me make one, just because she is a very experienced tailor)

Daddy is so much different. He steps into the picture, throws in 250 bucks, and leaves my sister and I in Orchard. (Which is a good thing, people. XD)

Mmmh, long time no blog.

BUT YAY~~~~

Exams are offically O-V-E-R!
Well, not technically, because I still have Science MCQ in the afternoon, but who gives a fook nyarh. :3

Biology was okay, by the way. Pity I don't really understand much of the essay questions, so I drew a lot of diagrams and experiments XD;

ANYWAY!

I got to watch Harry Potter: The Goblet of Fire! *dun dun DUN*
And how did I think it was?

Kinda.

Well, the thrillers were really scary, but since James and Oliver Phelps (the Weasley twins!) were featured so much in there.. I love it. <3

Frankly, I like Richard Harris acting as Dumbledore instead of the current one who used to be starring as Saruman in Lord of the Ring. The current one (no offense to any extreme fans) is really excessively dramatic. He doesn't have the gracious, kind-faced look, nor does he possess the hilarious sarcasm the late Richard Harris did in his acting.

In the movie, Dumbledore was like, pinning Harry down and being really unlike what was supposed to portray to the kids; an empathic and modest Headmaster.

But apart from that, Ralph Fiennes did an excellent job of Voldermort, I must admit. Just that he seemed not so evil as I thought he'd be. In the movie he reminds me of some.. evil clown. XD
AND NO WONDER Katie Leung had a Scottish accent (to class/schoolmates that don't know how it may sound, relating it to Mr Peacock's accent might give you a hint), she's SCOTTISH (who knew)! But I still think that Brenda from The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (Disney Channel for da wins ^^b) would've done a better job as Cho Chang, really. I bet a lot of girls in Singapore felt purely distraught having her as Cho.. I mean, I'm not the only one. o_o

Oh and just to let you know, Imelda Staunton's gonna act as Dolores Umbridge. But.. the pictures I've seen only makes me thing of her as motherly, not a bitchy old lady who tries to take over Hogwarts.. ._.

Oh well, I guess Order of the Phoenix is gonna be pretty cool, more Voldy butt-kicking~

Okay okay, enough of Harry Potter and what not.
When we were taking my cousin Celestine home, I saw a couple of teens smoking.

No, nothing wrong with that apart from it being illegal, but they were teaching 7 or more other primary school children or younger how to.
It's really sick to see how Singapore's society becoming like, sometimes.

Where did social etiquette, manners and class go to? I mean, what, are we supposed to face such things and deem it as commonplace for the rest of our lives to come? I really, really hope not.
Maybe it's just me.. but I want to keep walking home, listening to my neighbour play the piano, and do cranky faces on the elevator mirror like Singapore was a country without worries like your children being smokers, having their lives chunked away from them forcefully.

On another note, I miss you. =/

Enough of emoweek. XD

Either it's just me, or there are a lot of mosquitoes around. Like, nyaarh, I've killed a few already this friggen week >:|

I am actually excited to see the SEA Games, and root for Team Singapore. But if you know me I'm only gonna watch gymnastics, synchronised ~~swimming~~ diving, and swimming. I don't really like T&F events, likewise for Olympics. Seeing people run round and round and round makes me dizzy nyah. >_o

If you're gonna ask "how are O's so far", I'll give you a kick up the butt (in sheer ecstacy) because:

1) I think they were easier. Especially maths.. I seem to know almost every question, unlike N's where I purely eff'd up :x But if it's easy = higher moderation :(
2) IT IS ENDING SOOOON~

Sorosoro, about like.. 3 more papers? And 2 of which I can sleep on.
Friday = History.. I don't think I'll focus on anything more apart from both China chapters and something on Russia. XD I hope they don't pull another fucking stunt and bring up some topic which no one expected like SS.. I didn't get to study for any topics on it! ; ;

Then next Monday = Biology. Uh, I can say that Mrs Wong probably stuffed too much biology in my brain that my chemistry is like t3h sux0r. Then on the following Tuesday, it's Science MCQ.

Yin, I agree that friends are indeed a burden. But, that is just a title swines use to manipulate people that think they have friends.

But all is not lost, girl. Because true friends aren't like that. They stick with you through ups and downs, and usually they end up treating you like family. You know what they like, what they don't, what they are allergic to (probably their own house cat), and/or even adore this guy a normal friend would probably go blabbering about to someone else.

Sorry if I sound really corny (I read it to myself once and wondered wth is wrong with me..) there, but I felt that that should be cleared up. Everyone deserves friends. Lonliness can kill. i always seem to the problem. family, friends, self.

i get pissed off easily (note: i shouted in the car today because my sis and mum were on the issue of money again)

i don't appreciate many things
i'm really stupid (to type this, even)
i resemble a 5 month old in terms of how easily i break into tears
and i can't lose 5 kilos to save my sorry fat ass.

I hope I'm prepared.. like, I don't even know if it's going to be easy, seeing that the chem paper totally crushed me x.o But I hope everyone will pull through, we have places to go; dreams to fulfil!

I hereby dedicate the rest of these days to plain chionging and non-stop work! o/ After this, we'll be free! Free to roam the earth and rampage on foodage and whatever else we can frivolously increase expenditure on!

Mm, I feel so lazy. A reformatted computer feels so.. spick and span. =D

Finally we get a break from exams, but I guess this is only halfway. Well, at least the devil of Maths will be gone after this week. \o/

Hopefully, I don't screw up on it. Like, moderating is so gonna leave me as an C5 even though I'm pretty sure I'll scrape through paper one. But baka just said that when paper one is easy.. paper two would kill!

Yeah I'll start studying my book. I love being a pure lit student and getting an easier book from the express students (I don't know.. I'm still sore that we don't get anything of Shakespere ._.)

Went studying with min ytd. =D At least I didn't do nothing this time.. I did 15 math questions!

... it's still an achievement okay ._.

But hell, we sure saw a lot of weirdoes while at it.

At Mac's, the ladies sitting beside us were having a conference with some angmoh lady whom had heavy British accent. Then one of them were like, trying to make herself sound angmoh also la, but obviously sucked. But then again, I also talk with this shitty angmoh accent ._. I can't master British accent la, the "T" is relatively silent. (Claire, phonetics lessons plox! orz)

After that, while I was figuring out this weird question (which of course made me slap my head when I checked due to the obvious-ness of the answer), someone who seemed to be like my age working at Mac's was talking in hokkien to another old lady. I just ended up bursting in laughter because.. well.. his hokkien was almost as bad as min's. XD After which, I turned around to see what the source of excessive noise that was making this supposedly conducive environment resemble a kindergarten.

I found a corner reserved for some birthday party.. but when I looked behind.. I was shocked to see this old man with one hand (couple of fingers, to be exact), opening his nasal hole, and with the other - picking it.

*turns back slowly around, purely disgusted*

What.. the.. hell..
Now I have that freaky image of protruding nosehair etched in my mind for all of eternity to haunt me with. ;_;

So since there was too much noise (and disgust) around, we went to Suxian's condominium in an attempt to find some place really study-friendly.

And it was. Just that I was so caught up in looking at the poolside that I didn't do much else apart from ogling ._. We left the place at 5.30, which was considerably long for studying because we (me, in particular) arrived at 2+.

While on the bus.. there was sibling love. This young girl, not more than 5, was struggling to grab hold of the bars when her brother who looked primary 5/6 said:

Bro: "Aiyah, meimei.. hold me la. Later you fall down how?"
Sis: "Okay!" *HUG*

I mean, that's so sweet.. even though the brother might've been pretty reluctant =x

While walking home, I was walking behind this old man, who kept coughing. Well, no surprise.. but the disgusting thing was that.. he did that collect-phlegm-by-making-retching-noise-and-spit-on-random-place-where-people-are-going-to-be-walking-on-jajaja which I purely detest. ;_; Like dude, wtf?

Okay, fine. So maybe I'm overreacting so something that some elderly folks think it's perfectly fine (even though you know pretty well it's unhygenic). But at my block, when I wanted to take the lift, everyone knows that if you see someone coming in, you be polite and open it for the person to enter. Like any other civilised being would do.

BUT NOOOOO.

This middle-aged MORON probably hasn't had any manners instilled into his stupid bonehead. He saw me about to go into the lifts, and presses close while I'm walking through!
Of course, I wouldn't let him off easily, since my name is Gloria and I still want it that way.

*glares at him*
*sees what floor he's in (5th storey)*
*SLAMS 15th storey button (FYI: I live on the 15th =D)*
*repeats step one*

He kept having shifty eyes, that WUSS. Sissy, he should've been a girl instead. When he exited the lift, I ran to the buttons, and gave him a taste of his own medicine. Too bad the lift didn't shut his ass, though.

See, that's why Singapore are getting more and more useless children with no manners whatsoever. It's not that they "mei you jia jiao" (meaning that their parents never taught them manners), but their OWN parents don't have any, so there's nothing to impart at all!

No-class commoners with no form of etiquette (or fashion) should go and have their gonads sliced off or pierced with a red-hot iron rod.

I want to go and watch Madonna at Zouk ._. Her new songs are nice.. even though it might just be those kinda songs that don't last long since it doesn't make much sense (of course, you can bring in the "bageezus, Gloria, you have no depth at all, girlfriend! Only people with een-tah-lect can comprehend her diva-ness!") to me.

Too bad I'm not even in the legal age, much less try to get in acting like one when I hardly look 15.

I recently found out how cool it'd be to get a car with a license plate number as STF1337U! =D Even though it might get overused by other people, I just thought it might be interesting to drive a car like that. Anyone saw 4D with 1337? Or Toto 1, 3, 7, 13, 37, and for the additional number.. 8! (well, that's my own lucky number, at least. XD)

Okay enough of crap. I've decided to get a job ASAP, and when I get my pay, first thing I'll buy is a synthesizer! Okay maybe I'll get Levi's first.. but I so want a synthesizer. I used to have one since I was a toddler (even before I went for Kindergarten o_o) which was pretty average-sized and I loved it to the core. But my parents just had to throw it away! ;_; Well I'll show them. I'll buy my own synthesizer with my own munny, and then..

And then..

THERE'LL BE NO MORE PEACE IN THIS LOWLY NEIGHBOURHOOD!

And you know damn well who I'm referring to. You had better stop your bullshit, or I seriously will take action against you. I may be short, but I sure have more guts than you or any army you can cook up, faggot.

What are you trying to gain by escaping from your own weakness? It's a lose-lose situation; you'll end up thinking about why you did it, the reason, and end up lower than you already are. Stop trying to think you're always the one suffering when you very well know there are others in more pain (excruciating, if I may say so) than you'll ever be in.

Look at yourself and wonder why you're in this sad sad situation now. Ever tried doing it in a better way? Oh wait, you haven't. SO THAT'S WHY I'M PISSED OFF WITH YOU AS WELL. You'd be an insult to anything I'd name you, so you're practically WORTHLESS. You are one really pathetic loser. You're like a kid, snatching toys from others and crying when you fail to get it in the end. From my perspective, if you hadn't been a dimwit and taken the toy, you'd probably be given a better one, or one to your liking. Ah, sorry I didn't post this earlier. No I haven't been studying, but I will (I think. Procrastinating is what I'm known for anyway. =D)

But yay, I'll have to abandon this blog for a while even though I just changed the skin. And sorry baka, I didn't know how to alter the feathers to something better, so I stuck with it anyway ._.;

I took no some effort into this, making the shiznit and all. Uh, to be frank, not much. XD A total of 15 minutes for the background, and about 45 minutes for altering the html. I've taken longer for background designing, but this was too easy. XD I'm running out of ideas haha, I need to get more inspiration and stocks sometime soon. But there's no place where I can find nice stock without having fugly words or half-assed pictures cropped to the size of peaballs. D:< (Okay maybe not peaballs, but you get my drift.)

Anyone ~~brave enough~~ willing to teach me Mathematics? x_o

On MSN, I mentioned them (the seven sins) in Latin; Superbia, Avaritia, Luxuria, Indiva, Gula (no, it does not mean sugar you minah), Ira, Acedia. Of which, the first letters of these words form the medieval Latin word saligia, whence the verb saligiare (to commit a deadly sin) is taken.

We also found out that in 1589, Peter Binsfeld paired each of the deadly sins with a demon, who tempted people by means of the associated sin. And according to Binsfeld's classification of demons, the pairings are as follows:

Lucifer: Pride
Mammon: Greed
Asmodeus: Lust
Leviathan: Envy
Beelzebub: Gluttony
Satan: Wrath
Belphegor: Sloth

So now, Noel associates himself with Asmodeus, the supposed demon of Lust. Hm, I should be Belphegor's twin then, no doubt.
