I'm sure you guys know about Miss Singapore Universe 2007, right!Well, one of them happens to be my sister's best friends. So awesome right! She was an ex-SIA flight stewardess, so you can't go wrong there!
When my sister showed me she got into the finals, I wasn't surprised lah. I've seen Adlina a lot and she's pretty! Too bad the webpage for MSU '07 didn't grab the nicer pictures.
She's Adlina Adil, MSU13. Look out for her THIS SUNDAY at 7.30 PM on Channel 5!

32 killed by one person with two 9mm automatic handguns...When the news of the Virginia Tech school shooting appeared on TV, I was very worried. I kept asking what school it was, since it was on Channel 8 and I couldn't understand a crap of Mandarin that was being spoken.
Even though I know something like that would probably never happen here, tell me this: does it make the shooter any different from a suicide bomber or a terrorist?
By striking fear within the hearts of many, he kills himself afterward, not wanting to face the dread of having known that he took the lives of many innocent victims caused by his blind fury to the school. According to friends, one of the deceased happened to be a professor who was a leading scientist in searching for a cure for Cerebral Palsy.
Also, the student was known to possess a violent background. In school, playwrights he did were notably disturbing, but no one ever seemed to pursue the matter. His plays can be found here, as well as a testimony from a former classmate of the attacker. Please note that they are rather disturbing, and I didn't read past the 5th page of the first play.
As much as I would sympathise with him for not once finding joy in his life, his background gives him no reason to destroy the lives of so many. My heart goes out to the families of the victims.

Is it my fault now?You never once said anything while I made sure I was pretty clear about it.. I never had anything reciprocated, or maybe I was just too dense. You probably didn't want to tell me, knowing from past experience and all that.
But I have other obligations now.
You're not stupid, you should've understood by now.
Heck it was pretty damn obvious, but over these years, isn't it a little too long that you never once took notice? I always watched and supported you quietly but you never seemed to bother or much less, care. Your apathetic nature with being a guy and all probably adds to that fact, but I always hoped for some form of reciprocation, if any. Eventually, all of my attempts were to no avail. I still do it, but you still don't care.
I'm sorry I moved on before you did.
I waited just too long, and it was time I told myself to give up.
I don't know what if what I'm doing is right anymore, either. I've been skipping school quietly and I just hate my school right now. I'm really glad I passed but I can never make myself arrive there early or on time, ever. Damn it.
I miss my old secondary school friends so much. Especially Jiamin, please talk to me some time soon, it's been so long.. I don't want our friendship to drift apart. You've changed and that fact cannot be altered, but I just hope that none of us are forgotten. *Hugs.*

First day of a new semester. Repeating Managerial Accounting wasn't that bad, I had new friends, Winnie and Jacline. :] And yes, I am sitting riiiight in front, and being really, really, really attentive. You should see my comprehensive but totally messy notes. XD
Then during Business Finance, Emmanuel and Adri was like, "Gloria! New sem new style eh?"
I stared at him puzzled, only to realise I had my hair tied up. XD Yay, he and the other dude's in our group! FINALLY we have local dudes in project groups haha.
I think this sem is going to go good. Selwyn told us that BIS was totally lame though. Argh. I hope it goes well, I am going to get through this diploma by hook or by crook! o/
