"Wah lao.. we're the next group!" I whimpered as the last speaker for Group 7 exited, stage left. As Mrs Kwok stepped back on her I-teach-you-listen spot, I could see myself getting jittery along with all the group members.
"Okay, I'll end it here today."
That - was all I needed to hear. We whooped for joy, knowing that we now had more time to finish up the damn powerpoint presentation.
On my way home, I decided to finish up The Nanny Diaries since today was the deadline to return the books. At the same time, I had lunch at Mos Burger (yeah, pretty obvious I ate at Bukit Panjang Plaza). I thought min would be working and wanted to buy her a drink, but I forgot she was still at school >:
I bought myself a peppermint milk tea, and muttered "shit, this sucks balls" while looking down the bubble tea straw. Hah. Beverage puns. Instead of feeling pissed at the distastefulness of it, I forgot about it and humoured myself by laughing at my half-assed joke.
Sometimes I wonder why I actually put up with people that are so damn selfish they only bother about themselves. When I got my own issues, do you see me shun you like you do? Fuck, no! Do you see me act all cold and icy when I need my personal space and you just want someone to talk to? Again, no! Instead, I humour you by keeping awake and I get nothing.
I need a listening ear every now and then, but shit, no, you don't give a flying rat's ass. Instead, you try to get me angry like it saves your pathetic life. Urgh! I can't believe I actually stand you.
