Okay, first things first.HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIIIIIIIIN~~ <3
Hope you liked the presents. =D (Yes people, presents. >3 We gave her a nice watch, a pair of earrings to wear for prom, and of course, Corrinne May's album. Bwahaha! XD)
Hm, prac was okay, I guess. Chem and bio was easy laaah. Chem was the typical "find out salt T" stuff. Follow instructions, blah blah, write out observations, and conclude. However, I was pretty much stumped at a question. They gave us sodium carbonate and solution T (will explain what it is later), of which efferverscence was formed, with the gas being carbon dioxide since my glowing/lighted splint extinguished. So, I thought it would've been acidic, but when I added phenophthalein to my solution T, it turned into a white precipitate.
Me: Wtf does white ppt mean again.... Bah, whatever. Let's just assume it's acidic lah.
Then now, Jerrold comes over and tells me that pheno turns colourless upon acidic substances, and pink upon alkalis. ;_;
Meh. But I think I did get wrong for guessing what Salt T was. Qian Nan, Nasri and I put T as Zinc Nitrate, of which was most probably wrong, because the other cation/anion testing materials were on the teachers bench most probably for serving the purpose of making them test if it was either Aluminium Nitrate or Lead Nitrate. Bah ;_; But Jerrold says I'm right anyway.. Like VS got wrong for a particular question saying "like, 80% e cohort got tt question wrong" (of course, apart from him and the other 20%) which was similar to ours.
Maybe.. I shouldn't look up to VS so much. Hm.
Jerrold: Sick says:
and yea. dont think VS cannot get wrong
Jerrold: Sick says:
last year 60% of our cohort got F9 for amaths
XD
But anyway, apart from Chemistry, Biology was PEANUTS. All we had to do was the usual test-a-leaf-for-starch shiznit. Like, OMG. I was so not expecting that, but that is WAY too easy. Hot water, ethanol, hot water, iodine. For once, the variegated leaf was obedient and had all of it's chlorophyll gone in the ethanol. Tends to have some green left, but this time my whole leaf turned out white and had nice blue-black colours to draw with. <3
... After the practical exam, we were quarantined for four (yes, F-O-U-R) hours in the hall. Watching 'Wallace and Gromit' and 'Mr Bean' was enough to kill my mood. Like, need I emphasize this?
WE. ARE. SECONDARY. FIVE. STUDENTS.
Do we look like the sort who watches a plasticine human and dog make wacky inventions, eat porridge blown out of a machine, and wrestle cyborg dogs (which are ironically plasticine as well)?! Or do you presume our maturity renders us to love Mr Bean to the extent of knowing what the shows about already? I think not.
Uh, I appreciate your concern for sharing your time with us, but please, I'd rather Yin bring ff:ac and we could all be merry and watch Tifa kick ass, hum Loz's ringtone over and over again, or melt when Vincent appears in his sexy red cape. XD
Oh well, after all that hullabaloo was over, we got to eat SUSHIIIIIIII!!!
Yes, from 2+ to 5, we ate, ate, ate, and yes, you guessed it; ate. We're all full to the extent of bursting skirts, removing belts, and tucking out shirts. XD
Was pretty funny in the restaurant though. Like, I'd phail the lady in Japanese man. -_- Her "irrasshaimase" sounds totally off. Pfft, I was even cursing and mocking her in Japanese when Yanliang was unable to call the waitress over XD So funny inside there, we were the only ones laughing while everyone was having a perfectly normal lunch, lol. Of course, the cake rocked! <3
Well, after all that we went to comics connection and saw... XUANTONG. D: Like, even though he was dressed in bball shorts, he still was that dorky. Homg.
But we had fun, ne? We'll do this again. We can throw cakes! Have food fights! Force food down the throat! Spill water everywhere! WAHA! WHO'S BIRTHDAY IS NEXT?!
....... Wait, it's...
..mine.
Shit, NUUU!!
